Two Hinds Community College students were among 15 students statewide pursuing careers in automotive manufacturing fields awarded scholarships this month.
Rokeyvis Dotson, of Port Gibson, studying diesel equipment technology, and Tim Zwiers, of Flowood, studying automotive technology, received scholarships from the Mississippi Automotive Manufacturers Association.
Each will receive one-one-one mentoring from association members and have opportunities to participate in job skills workshops.
