About Nursing & Allied Health
The Nursing & Allied Health Center provides accessible, affordable, quality education with an emphasis on healthcare careers. Our mission is to prepare individuals to become competent caring healthcare providers. While all health programs require acceptance to the class based on specific program requirements, academic classes are available to all students who meet the general admission requirements of the college.
Comprehensive Programs
A hub of training for over a dozen health related fields, healthcare providers from across the state recognize the quality of a graduate from a Hinds CC program.
George Ball Simulation Center
A one-of-a-kind training opportunity at the George Ball Simulation Center. Students engage in a variety of scenarios that they will encounter in true clinical settings.

Hosted on the first Friday of every month at 1:00 p.m., this information session will give you the opportunity to learn about our programs, admission requirements, and deadlines, as well as the opportunity to meet faculty and tour our learning labs.

We offer Nursing and Allied Health programs, short term health care courses, and continuing education classes. All health programs require acceptance to the class based on specific program requirements.

First Friday Information Sessions
Information sessions are held at the Nursing& Allied Health Center on the first Friday of each month at 1 p.m., except holidays. These sessions will provide you with an opportunity to talk with faculty, counselors and financial aid representatives and to tour school labs.
