Institutional Research & Effectiveness
The goal of the Office of Institutional Research and Effectiveness is to acquire and translate high-quality institutional data in support of the strategic initiatives, mission, and vision of Hinds CC.
Institutional research activities provide information to support institutional planning, policy formulation, and decision making. This includes directing and managing data acquisition, data analysis, and research activities relative to institutional research and managing the submission of required state and federal reports regarding College activities.
Institutional Effectiveness is a means through which Hinds Community College engages in continual self-evaluation in order to measure successes and outcomes related to the institutional mission. The purpose of engaging in this process is to determine whether HCC administrative and academic support units and departments properly address the institutional mission.
