No need to rush home or find a sitter. The Learning Circle provides a hot meal and on-site childcare each week so you can focus on your goals.

Each Tuesday night includes:

  • Free dinner provided for students and families
  • Free childcare on site so parents can focus on learning (up to age 11)
  • Peer learning community of adults with similar goals

Take care of all your enrollment needs for The Learning Circle at the TLC Enrollment Express on Tuesday, November 11, from 1 – 6 p.m.! Drop in at your convenience, check in with our team, and proceed through stations for admissions, financial aid, advising, payment plans, student services, and more. Enrollment made easy – with a little TLC.

What is included?

Childcare and meals are included when you register for classes in the Learning Circle on Tuesday nights in Spring 2026. Tuition and fees are still the same for Hinds students. However, we encourage all students to apply for Financial Aid.

Can these courses lead to a certificate or degree?

Yes! The Learning Circle courses are part of Hinds Community College’s regular academic and career/technical pathways. Depending on which classes you take, you can earn college credit that counts toward a:

  • Career Certificate
  • Technical Certificate
  • Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree
  • Associate of Arts (AA) degree — for students planning to transfer to a four-year university or entry to a future program.
Do I just need to come in Tuesdays?
  • There will also be an open lab on Thursday evenings for those who need it. Dinner and childcare will not be included on Thursdays.
  • Students enrolled in Welding & Cutting Technology will be required to come on Thursdays.
How do I sign up?
  • Students who are not currently enrolled at Hinds need to submit an application for Spring 2026 and meet all admission requirements. You’ll also need to meet with an Advisor to register for the Learning Circle courses.
  • Join us for the TLC: Enrollment Express on Tuesday, November 11, 2025. Drop in from 1 – 6 p.m. and take care of all your enrollment needs!
Is there a deadline?

Yes, students must complete all admission requirements and submit all necessary documents by the established registration deadline. Eligibility is also subject to the availability of seats in the courses!
