Service Parts Component Warehousing
About
This 96-hour Service Parts Component Warehousing program is designed to broaden the participant’s knowledge base of the warehouse and parts market industry. Participants with little-to-no experience have the opportunity to enter the Parts and Component Market industry with Forklift Training, OSHA 10 General Industry, and First Aid/CPR/AED certifications.
Classroom & Hands-on Training
This program will consist of classroom instruction in inventory and component management, inventory procedures, safety, receiving and shipping processes, receiving and stocking merchandise, OSHA and EPA regulations regarding merchandise handling and shipping, customer service skills, and employability skills. Hands-on training sessions will reinforce classroom training and provide actual equipment operation.
Course Certifications
During this course you will be able to get certified in Forklift Training, OSHA 10 General Industry, and First Aid/CPR/AED.
Training Requirements
- Must be 18+ years of age
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to provide own transportation
All Workforce trainings require 90% attendance to receive completion certifications.

How to Enroll
This training is currently available through the Reconnect Grant. To enroll, please complete the following steps:
- Contact Your Local WIN Job Center
Reach out to the Jackson, Rankin, or Vicksburg WIN Job Center and ask about enrolling in the Reconnect Training. - Complete Reconnect Paperwork
Submit all required documentation to the WIN Job Center. Once approved, you will receive a registration link by email. - Register for the Class
Use the registration link provided to sign up for the training. A confirmation email from Canvas will follow once your registration is complete. - Log into Canvas
Access your Canvas account. The training will appear on your dashboard. - Upload Pre-Class Documentation
Click on the training listed on your dashboard and upload all required documents before the class begins.

Once all steps are complete, you are officially enrolled and ready to begin training.
