At Hinds CC it’s easy to apply, and there’s no application fee! Hinds Community College has an open-door admission policy that offers all students general admission to the college. Follow the steps below to start your application or view your current application status.

Nursing & Allied Health Programs
Please log into your My.Hinds account to apply for any of our 14 health-related programs that have separate admission applications. Applicants must have already applied for general admission or be a current student to access My.Hinds.

- After your general admissions application is accepted, you’ll receive an emailed acceptance letter with your next steps.
- Be sure to log back into your applicant account to view your admission requirements and monitor the status of your documents as you submit them.
- Please note: Your applicant account uses your personal email address and is only used for applying to Hinds and checking your admission status.

Your Student Accounts
My.Hinds
- My.Hinds is your student portal. It’s your gateway to everything Hinds! From My.Hinds, you can access all essential Hinds tools and platforms, such as:
- Your Hinds email (powered by Microsoft Office 365)
- Navigator
- Housing Portal
- Canvas
- Your admissions acceptance email will include your My.Hinds username and temporary password. After the first login, you’ll create a secure password and set up your My.Hinds account recovery settings.
- The login credentials you use for My.Hinds are single sign-on, meaning one username and password give you access to all Hinds platforms (except your applicant account, which always uses your personal email).
Navigator
- If you need assistance with logging into My.Hinds using the Student ID and default password provided to you, please contact our IT Support Center at
- Navigator (powered by Workday) is where your most confidential student information is stored, including your grades, degree plan, itemized bill, payments, and financial aid.
- Use Navigator regularly to manage your student information and take care of college business.
- To access Navigator, log in to My.Hinds and click on Navigator, or download the Workday app from the App Store or Google Play.
