Hinds CC Rankin Campus to host College Day

Honors Institute, other activities to be highlighted

PEARL – Hinds Community College Rankin Campus will have its academic and career-tech programs on display Friday for prospective students at the Hwy 80 campus in Pearl.

Rankin College Day is set for 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. inside the Muse Center at the Rankin Campus and will also feature student activities and organizations, including the Rankin Campus Honors Institute, to highlight campus life.

Prospective students will have a chance to interact with faculty and Hinds students about admissions, scholarships, majors, student life and more.

RAYMOND – Hinds Community College Hi-Steppers have been named for 2024-2025.

The group has a new director, Beka King of Pearl. She is only the third director in the 75-year history of the Hi-Steppers. She herself was a Hi-Stepper from 2013-2015 and, during her sophomore year, she was captain of the team.
