Join us at Hinds Community College’s Raymond Campus for Deaf Awareness Week, a series of engaging events designed to celebrate Deaf culture, promote American Sign Language (ASL), and increase awareness and inclusion. Whether you’re fluent in ASL or just curious, there’s something for everyone!

  “ASL in a Minute” – Learn quick and fun ASL signs that you can use every day!

• Tuesday, September 23

  “Technology Tuesday” – Explore the latest tech that empowers Deaf and hard-of-hearing communities.

• Wednesday, September 24
  🕐 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
  “Deaf/Blind Simulation” – Step into someone else’s shoes in this eye-opening interactive experience.

• Thursday, September 25
  🕘 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
  “Twisted Giveaway” – Wrap up the week with games, activities, and fun prizes!
