Get Enrolled Hinds makes it easy for you to become a student by providing these 7 "quick" steps for enrollment at any Hinds location.
1. Complete an Hinds CC Application for Admission (PDF) or Application for Admission (Online) and submit it to the Office of Admissions and Records address located in the top right corner of the application.
2. Submit test scores: a. If you are interested in an academic or technical field of study, have a copy of your ACT scores sent to:
Hinds Community College, Office of Admissions and Records, PO Box 1100, Raymond, MS 39154-1100
b. If you have not taken the ACT, you will be required to take placement tests before registering. 3. If you wish to live on campus, complete an Application for Housing and submit it to the Housing Office address located on the application. All students with a Composite ACT score of 21 or higher will be guaranteed housing. 4. Have official transcripts from the high school or last college you attended mailed directly to the Office of Admissions and Records after you graduate. 5. Apply for Financial Aid and Scholarships. Apply early! You must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) if you are interested in any type of financial assistance (excluding scholarships). 6. See a counselor at any Hinds location for advisement and to register. Tuition and fees may be paid at this time or you may be billed. Buy your books after you have met your class for the first time. 7. If you are planning to enroll in a Nursing or Allied Health program, please contact that campus directly for applications, requirements, and deadlines specific to that program of study.
