Deans’ Scholars are those students with a cumulative 3.5 to 3.9 grade point average.
President’s Scholars are those with a cumulative 4.0 grade point average.

Over four ceremonies on May 10, 11 and 13, Hinds Community College awarded 1,526 degrees and certificates to 1,107 graduates. A number of graduates received more than one credential.

Twenty First Team members from across the nation are named annually with each receiving a $5,000 scholarship.
Legislators appropriated $24 million over two sessions and Rankin County Supervisors have also committed to assisting with the funding.
