Beginning in January 2014, Hinds CC nursing and allied health students have access to the Dr. George Ball Simulation Center at 1820 Hospital Dr. in Jackson. The center, near the college’s Jackson Campus-Nursing/Allied Health Center, allows students to practice clinical skills in sophisticated setting with manikins and high-tech equipment. Among the students who had a chance to use the center are Tanya Mitchell, Drew Burkett, Katie Rayborn and Shelby Blankenship.
