Come Dance With Us on Dance Day!
High school Juniors and Seniors are invited to Dance Day at the Raymond Campus of Hinds Community College! Sponsored by our Montage Theatre of Dance, Dance Day is for students who want to connect their passion for dance to their college education.
At Dance Day, prospective students will attend masterclasses in ballet, modern dance, jazz, hip-hop, and African dance with Hinds teachers and students. You’ll also learn about dance opportunities at Hinds, plus get info on admissions, student life, scholarships and more. So, come and dance with us!

9:15 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Raymond Campus – Bee Hall
School excuses will be provided.
Schedule:
9:15 a.m. – Registration at Bee Hall
9:30 a.m. – Tap, Ballet, and Modern Dance
10:45 a.m. – Break and Info Session
11:00 a.m. – Jazz, Hip-Hop, and African Dance
12:15 p.m. – Dance Program Concludes
12:30 p.m. – Optional: Lunch on your own in the Hinds cafeteria or Chic-fil-a
1:00 p.m.- Optional: Campus Tour
1:30 p.m.- Campus Tour Concludes

Space is limited and registration is required!
Dance Day is free, and attendees receive a free t-shirt! However, lunch is available for you to purchase at the conclusion of the dance classes in our cafeteria or in the on-campus Chic-fil-a.
What to wear: Comfortable dance clothes and shoes (jazz shoes, barefoot, socks, etc.), conducive to jazz, hip-hop, and modern dance.
