Psychology
Area of Study

Psychology is the scientific study of behavior and mental processes. This includes history and theories of psychology, research methods, biological basis of behavior, the principles of learning, personality, and abnormal behavior. Our Psychology Area of Study will enable you to meet the necessary general education requirements and be exposed to introductory Psychology courses such as General Psychology, Human Growth and Development, Child Psychology, Adolescent Psychology, and Psychology of Personal Adjustment.

Precision Manufacturing Engineering Technology
Program of Study

Precision Manufacturing and Engineering Technology is an instructional program that prepares individuals to manufacture precision parts on machines such as lathes, grinders, drill presses, milling machines, and computer numerical control (CNC) equipment. Included is instruction in making computations related to work dimensions, testing, feeds, and speeds of machines. In addition, individuals use precision measuring instruments such as layout tools, micrometers, and gauges; machine and heat-treat various metals; and lay out machine parts. Also included is instruction in the operation and maintenance of computerized equipment.

Poultry Production
Program of Study

Our Animal Science Technology Poultry Production option will provide you with the basic skills needed to pursue a variety of careers in agriculture. These skills include poultry management, agribusiness management, basic maintenance technology, and human relations. Specific jobs may include farm managers, agribusiness managers, agriculture supply representatives, equipment sales, poultry sales, chemical sales, research assistants, soil conservation technicians, food processing supervisors, and other entry-level management positions.

Plumbing & Construction Technology
Program of Study

Our Plumbing and Construction Technology program will prepare you with specialized skills and knowledge related to several careers in the plumbing and construction field. When you graduate from our program, you can take the journeyperson’s exam(s) and become employed as a supervisor, instructor, material expediter, inspector, irrigation system installer, sprinkler system installer, residential plumber, domestic/commercial gas filter, estimator, consultant, employer, or contractor.
