A multitude of scholarships is available for dancers at Hinds Community College! Dance scholarship recipients must enroll in 15 or more credit hours each semester, including a dance technique class, and be a member of the Montage Theatre of Dance. Interested students should first submit an application to the Montage Theatre of Dance, as well as audition. Dance scholarships are renewable depending on GPA, dance technique, and the number of semesters an individual has received the scholarship.
Foundation Scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis to students who are involved in extracurricular activities, have a desire for achievement, show excellence in the classroom, and/or have a need for financial assistance. Foundation scholarships are awarded in many areas.
