Campus Visit

Schedule Your Campus Visit

What better way to get to know Hinds Community College than to schedule a visit at any of our six locations! A campus visit includes an information session with an Enrollment Specialist who can answer all your questions about admissions, financial aid, programs of study, housing, and student life, as well as a walking tour to get acquainted with campus facilities and services.

Summer Tours
  • Campus tours from May through August are limited, as all incoming freshmen planning to enroll in Fall 2026 are encouraged to attend New Student Orientation!
  • If you are not enrolling at Hinds this fall or you cannot attend one of the New Student Orientations, you may book a campus tour appointment below.
Tour Tips

Please review the following before booking an appointment:

  • Campus tours are available by appointment only.
  • Guests should arrive 15 minutes before the appointment time to find parking and check in. If you will be more than 10 minutes late for your appointment, we invite you to reschedule so you don’t miss anything!
  • A campus tour is an appointment that includes a brief info session and walking tour to get acquainted with campus.
  • Please wear comfortable shoes and check the weather in advance. We recommend bringing an umbrella or raincoat if needed.
  • Meetings with athletic coaches are not included in this campus tour appointment. To remain compliant with NJCAA regulations, all athletic inquiries must be directed to the Athletic Department.
Group Tours

Group visits are a great way to expose your students to college and careers! We are happy to try and accommodate Group Tour requests from high schools and special organizations. Please note our following Group Tour policies:

  • Group Tours must be booked two weeks in advance and confirmed with the Campus Visit Coordinator.
  • The number of students may be limited based on the campus you wish to visit and the programs you wish to see.
  • Groups receive priority booking in order of 12th, 11th, 10th, and 9th grades.
  • We urge schools to have at least one chaperone per 15 students and kindly request that you stay with the group for the duration of the walking tour.
  • We also encourage you to confirm your bus transportation two weeks ahead of time to diminish the risk of canceling the appointment that you book.
