RAYMOND – The Hinds Community College Foundation recognized 2025-2026 scholarship recipients, donors and other honorees at a reception on Sept. 19 at the Muse Center on the Rankin Campus.
The Hinds Community College Foundation will award more than 800 scholarships during the 2025-2026 academic year. The deadline to apply for a scholarship for fall 2026 (academic year 2026-2027), is Feb. 15, 2026. For more information, visit www.hindscc.edu.

Among those recognized was Karla Butler-Brown of Brandon, recipient of the Cowart/MBH/Gilfoy Nursing Alumni Endowed Scholarship, with donor Dene Cook.

Among those recognized was Micah Freeman of Pearl, recipient of the Dr. Chad Stocks Memorial CTE Endowed Scholarship, with donors Carly Stocks and Sandra Stocks, both of Raymond.

Among those recognized was Noah Brister of Terry, recipient of the Carol Nelson and Debbie Ganzerla Memoria Endowed Scholarship and donors Carly Stocks and Sandra Stocks of Raymond.
