Overview
The Hinds CC Dance Department offers students the opportunity to gain diverse, in-depth, knowledge and performance experience within an encouraging and inclusive environment. We integrate theoretical and practical aspects of dance in a meaningful way to our students’ lives.
We also provide a myriad of perspectives and opportunities as students study contemporary, classical, and urban forms of dance. Through the study of dance, students are engaged in holistic and comprehensive approaches. Our faculty, courses, and performances prepare students for a successful career in the field of dance.
