
Penny Bishop of Pearl is the Criminal Background and Health Records Specialist for all nursing and allied health programs. Based at Nursing Allied Health in Jackson, she has been a Hinds employee for 11 years. She also is a Hinds alumnus.

Eric Bobo of Brandon is Chair of the Social and Behavioral Sciences/History and Humanities Department on the Raymond Campus. A Hinds employee for nearly 26 years, he has degrees from Jacksonville State University, the University of Southern Mississippi and Delta State University. He participates in Hinds’ prison education program at Central Mississippi Correctional Facility.

Vanda Brumfield of Clinton, a 13-year Hinds employee, is Dean of Instruction for Dual Enrollment and Secondary Centers. A Hinds alumnus, she also has three degrees from Delta State University. She oversees the planning, implementation and continuous growth of dual enrollment and secondary centers.

LaSandra Hudson Davis of Vicksburg is the Learning Lab Specialist and Instructor in the Student Success Center on the Vicksburg-Warren Campus. An eight-year employee, she is a graduate of Alcorn State University. She provides instructional support to students.

Lee Dodd of Raymond has worked at Hinds for 4 ½ years. He is the Construction Projects Manager for Facilities Management and is based on the Raymond Campus. A graduate of Mississippi State University, he manages and oversees construction projects for the college.

Rod Jones of Byram has been at Hinds for 13 ½ years. He is a Physical Education Instructor on the Raymond Campus and also portrays Captain Can-It in the college’s anti-litter campaign. He has two degrees from Jackson State University.

Kelton Kemp of Hazlehurst is Instructional Technology Coordinator on the Raymond Campus. A two-year Hinds employee, he has two degrees from Belhaven University. He is responsible for supporting the development of educational technology solutions.

Ward “W.P.” Marsh of Raymond has been a Hinds employee for 10 years. He is Aviation Maintenance Technician Instructor at JBW Airport. An alumnus of Hinds, he is also a graduate of the University of California-Davis.

Rebecca McCalpin of Hermanville is Director of Assessment, based on the Raymond Campus. She has worked at Hinds for 17 years. A Hinds alumnus, she has degrees from Belhaven University and Delta State University.

Kathryn Rogers of Madison is a Psychology Instructor on the Rankin Campus. A Hinds employee for 6 ½ years, she has two degrees from Mississippi College.

Beverly Trimble of Utica is an alumnus of Hinds, Jackson State University and Ashford University. An employee for 22 ½ years, she is Coordinator of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act Individual Training Act and Mississippi Eligible Training Provider List programs.

Kelly White of Clinton is the Lead Mental Health Counselor and is based on the Raymond Campus. She has been at Hinds for two years. She has multiple degrees from the University of Louisiana-Monroe. She leads a comprehensive, college-wide approach to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of students and employees.

Tammy Wood of Raymond is the Director of Procurement and is based on the Raymond Campus. She has a total of 23 years at Hinds, including several years as a part-time employee. A Hinds alumnus, she also has a degree from Mississippi University for Women. She manages the Purchasing, Accounts Payable and Fixed Assets departments.
