Rankin Campus
Welcome to Hinds Community College Rankin Campus, where you’ll find a supportive community that is committed to helping you learn, grow, and succeed. Our campus is an exciting place to be, with new additions like the Health Science Complex and The Commons, which is currently under construction and will include student housing, a cafeteria, and a wellness center, creating even more opportunities to connect and make the most of your college experience. Whether you need guidance, resources, or simply someone to help you navigate your journey, the Office of Student Services is here to support you every step of the way. Raymond Campus
With nineteen years in higher education, my commitment to student development and success remains the driving force behind my absolute excitement to serve as the Dean of Students for the Raymond Campus. While practical learning occurs within the classroom, students spend the largest portion of their time outside of it. It is my responsibility as a practitioner to intentionally curate meaningful opportunities that foster continuous learning to increase students’ personal, career, and academic success.
Building vibrant communities where every student feels valued and empowered drives my daily approach to campus leadership. By intentionally connecting student conduct, housing and residence life, student recreation, and campus engagement initiatives, we create an environment where holistic growth thrives. I am thrilled to partner with our incredible students, faculty, and staff to shape transformative campus experiences that support every student from their first day to commencement and beyond.
Utica Campus
I am honored to serve as Dean of Students at Hinds Community College’s Utica Campus, bringing more than 20 years of experience in education, student affairs, career services, and student engagement. Throughout my higher education career, I have served students and held leadership roles at Wiley University, Alabama State University, Trenholm State Community College, Jackson State University, and Virginia College. My experience includes leading student engagement initiatives, advising student organizations, developing career and employer partnerships, supporting student success and retention efforts, and creating programs designed to help students thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
I believe the student experience is at the heart of everything we do in higher education. I am committed to creating an environment at the Utica Campus where students feel welcomed, supported, connected, and empowered to succeed. I am passionate about honoring Utica’s rich HBCU legacy while creating new opportunities for engagement, leadership, belonging, and personal and professional growth. My goal is to ensure that every student knows they matter, understands that they belong, and leaves Hinds prepared to make a meaningful impact in the world.
Vicksburg Campus
The Vicksburg-Warren Campus offers a welcoming, student-centered environment where I am committed to helping every student feel supported, connected, and empowered to succeed. As Dean of Students, I am here to assist students both inside and outside the classroom by connecting them with resources such as disability support services, student conduct guidance, Title IX support, and opportunities for leadership and campus involvement.
I want students to know that they do not have to navigate college alone. Whether you need assistance working through a challenge, finding the right campus resource, or getting involved in activities and organizations, my office is here to support you. I look forward to getting to know our students and helping make their experience at the Vicksburg-Warren Campus both successful and meaningful.
