INSPECTION AUTHORIZATION
REFRESHER TRAINING SEMINAR
Hinds Community College Aviation Department, the Aviation Chapter of Hinds Community College Alumni Association and the FAAST Safety Team will conduct an eight-hour Inspection Authorization (IA) Refresher Training Course on Thursday February 26, 2026. This seminar is open to IA’s. A&P’s, AMTs, Pilots and all friends of aviation. This will be an excellent training event and an opportunity to renew friendships.
Registration
A registration fee of $50 covering the cost of materials, facility usage and breaks is required. Excess funds will go toward the scholarship fund of Hinds Community College Aviation Alumni Chapter. Hotel Reservations
Come early, stay late! Eagle Ridge Conference Center & Resort has hotel accommodations available. Guest rooms are $99 (Double or ADA Queen*) and $159 (King Suites), plus sales tax per night. For reservation information call 601-857-7100. Let Eagle Ridge Conference Center & Resort know you will be attending the Aviation IA Seminar.
*There are limited number of these rooms and preference will be given to those with need.
Pre-Seminar Event – Fellowship Fish Fry
Wednesday, February 25, 2026, the Aviation Chapter of Hinds Community College Alumni Association will sponsor a fish fry for the 2026 IA Refresher Training attendees and sponsors. This event is included “free” with your paid registration, yet donations will be accepted. The event will begin at 6 p.m. at the Hinds CC Aviation Maintenance/Classroom Hangar, John Bell Williams Airport (KJVW). When registering, please indicate if you will attend. This will help us plan for the food.
Breakfast
Light breakfast items and beverages will be available at 7 a.m. prior to the meeting.
Lunch Buffet
A buffet lunch will be available at Eagle Ridge Conference Center & Resort at a cost of $35 per person. When registering, please indicate that you will be attending the lunch buffet.
