$1 Million
Hinds CARES Grant
$500 for 2,000 Students
The response to the new Hinds CARES Grant has been swift and gratifying. The college received more than 2,000 applications within 48 hours of the announcing the grant. Therefore, we have stopped accepting applications – for now.
The CARES grant is just one effort to help our students push past obstacles that may cause an interruption in their college plans. It’s evident that many of our students still have unmet financial needs, and we are committed to finding ways to help you avoid a gap in your college goals.
A fourth economic stimulus bill is making its way through Congress. We believe it will include additional funds to help our students. Check the college website frequently for new announcements.
Fall classes begin August 17. A payment plan is available to help you pay for college; details can be found here.
