Mississippi Community College Board and the Mississippi Department of Education’s Office of Career and Technical Education Regional Collaboration Meeting

On October 28, 2026, Hinds Community College will host Session A of the MCCB/MDE Biannual CTE Collaboration Meetings at the Rankin Campus Career-Technical Education Center on Greenfield Road. Attendees will include secondary and postsecondary CTE deans and directors representing the East Central, Hinds, Holmes, Meridian, and Mississippi Delta community college regions.

The meeting will support collaboration among secondary schools, community colleges, workforce partners, and industry representatives. Primary objectives include aligning secondary and postsecondary CTE programs with State Workforce Investment Board clusters, integrating comprehensive regional needs assessments across Mississippi’s workforce development areas, and coordinating curriculum development and updates to address regional workforce needs.
