Students will be able to register for a move-in appointment time slot in late July within their housing portal. During the signup, students may select from available dates and times for the centralized move-in process for their campus.

Please Note:

• Students who do not have a confirmed move-in appointment or who arrive before their scheduled move-in time will NOT be permitted to move in. No exceptions will be made.
• Students must complete all housing requirements prior to arrival.
• During move-in, students and families will be greeted and assisted by Housing and Residence Life staff, student leaders, volunteers, and Hinds Community College leadership. Move-in Day is a fun and exciting opportunity to meet new friends, connect with the campus community, and begin your college experience at Hinds.
