The Art area of study explores coursework in the fine arts and in media arts that will allow a student to enhance current art skills, build further art interests, and settle on a direction for a professional art career. Students majoring in art have a wide range of job opportunities upon degree completion.
For almost 30 years Hinds students and staff have made the famous sights of England their classroom. You will see Stonehenge, Windsor Castle, and the Roman ruins at Bath. What’s more, you’ll really learn what it’s like to live in the UK as we are hosted by Hinds’ international partner, Bridgwater & Taunton College. From brisk country strolls in the Southwest to the hustle and bustle of metropolitan London, travelers will experience the trip of a lifetime.
The Student Success Center is a comprehensive set of programs and services to support all students, from first semester to graduation, in setting and meeting their academic goals. SSC locations offer a student friendly work environment where students may work on their own, in groups, or with a lab specialist or tutor.
