Wi-Fi Zones

Wi-Fi Zones have been set up at each campus to provide internet access to students as needed. These zones are set up at the locations listed below and provide coverage in the parking lot surrounding them.

  • Jackson ATC – Bivins (left side going toward Alexander)
  • Nursing & Allied Health – Facility closest to east parking lot
  • Rankin – Academic Library Building
  • Raymond – Student Union
  • Utica – Fine Arts Building
  • Vicksburg – Joe Loviza Building

We understand the changing landscape of instructional delivery is confusing, and sometimes, overwhelming but rest assured, we are here to help you. In this Resource site you will find the basics of how to transition in an online environment.

Request Course Accommodations Due to a Disability

Hinds CC supports students with disabilities in their educational pursuits by providing accessibility to programs and course offerings. Disability Support Services staff are committed to promoting a positive campus environment in which students with disabilities are encouraged to actively participate in fields of study related to their personal interests and abilities. Office 365

This feature takes the Microsoft Office apps you are most familiar with (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, One Drive, etc.) and moves them online. Further information can be found on the Office 365 training site.

Hinds Net Identify/Self Service

This feature is useful for staff and students that have issues logging into My.Hinds. It walks you through the steps to reset your password or how to locate your Hinds ID number. These links can be found at the bottom of My.Hinds login page. Look for “Forgot Password?” and “Need Your Hinds ID?”.

Zoom Meetings

This will be used by some instructors for classes and communication. This is a great way to collaborate with instructors. Please email eLearning@hindscc.edu for assistance and be sure to add “Student Support Question” in the subject line of the email.
