Mariah Atwood, joined by Hinds CC music faculty Ben Bullock (trumpet) and Marc Rivet (piano).
Atwood is currently working towards a bachelor’s degree in music performance at The University of Southern Mississippi. Atwood currently studies under Dr. T.J. Tesh, and has also studied with Ben Bullock, Kevin Mullen, and Chris Moore. Mariah is currently Co-Principle in the Wind Ensemble and second trumpet in the Symphony Orchestra. Atwood also marched with the Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps in 2020 and 2021. She attended National Trumpet Competition in 2019 in the high school solo division as well as the small ensemble division in 2022.
