Aviation Technology

The Aviation Technology program offers a 2-year Associates of Applied Science degree plus industry and government certifications. This program prepares students for non-flying careers in four separate areas of concentration.

Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) (drones) 

Airport Operations – for careers that specialize in airport operations, safety inspections, ramp service, aircraft service, airline service, flight attendant, cargo services, and other positions.

Aviation Security – for careers that specialize in aviation security. Employment with TSA and other government agencies as well as with companies in the aviation industry.

Air Traffic Control – for careers that specialize in air traffic control or flight dispatch. Air traffic control positions with the Federal Aviation Administration are subject to restrictions regarding age and physical conditions.
