If you are ultimately pursuing a bachelor’s degree, academics will be your path at Hinds. At the Raymond Campus, you can complete the 62 credit hours required to receive an Associate of Art Degree. This degree gives you the foundation you need to transfer to a university and complete your bachelor’s degree. Plus, students who attend Hinds for their first two years of college before transferring to a MS public university will save over $8,000 in tuition costs alone! We maintain a close relationship with Mississippi’s universities to ensure that your credits transfer. Be sure to check out the Mississippi Articulation Transfer Tool, which can be used a transfer guide.
Our academic faculty bring a wealth of knowledge to the classroom and care about your success. Academic faculty meet the same minimum credential requirements to teach at Hinds as they must meet at Mississippi’s public universities and hold advance masters and doctoral degrees.
