Student Activities
Student Activities are a great way to get involved at Hinds Community College. Students from any of our 6 campuses can participate in the events and Intramural sports free of charge. Activities are planned conveniently so that they don’t interfere with your classes and give you a chance to unwind at the end of the day.
From Homecoming week to Spring Fever, students will find a variety of activities on campus for recreation, competition and fun! This year we have experienced the thrill of laser tag, the mechanical bull, water slides and bungee runs. We’ve been entertained by local bands, mesmerized by a one-of-a-kind hypnotist, and relaxed in an old fashioned way with a drive-in movie.
Additionally, Hinds has various clubs and organizations where you can get plugged in. You can join others like you for academic excellence, religious observation, social platforms and service projects.
