Registration for spring classes at Hinds Community College opens Nov. 9 for current students and Nov. 16 for new students. Spring classes start on Jan.11. 

Current students who don’t need to see an adviser can register online by logging into my.hindscc.edu. All Hinds locations are open for registration until 6:30 p.m. each Tuesday and 4 p.m. each of the other weekdays. 

Students who want to apply for financial aid are encouraged to do so as soon as possible. The sooner they apply, the sooner the Hinds Financial Aid and Business offices can help them finalize payment arrangements and lock in their schedule. 

Hinds had record enrollment increases for fall 2009. College officials are expecting the higher enrollment trend to continue in the spring semester and plan to add course sections to accommodate increased enrollment. However, students should register early to get the class schedule they need.
