Members of the Alpha Omicron Omega Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at the Hinds Community College Rankin Campus participated in a number of community service activities in fall 2009. 

Hinds Community College Rankin Campus Phi Theta Kappa students purchased toys and clothes for a needy family, among other fall projects.

Among the activities, PTK members collected canned goods for a women’s shelter, sent cards and supplies to military personnel and raised $400 for Stop SMA, a foundation established by Hinds employee Jeff Horton, whose daughter has spinal muscular atrophy.
