Raymond Campus sophomore Conesha Michael, 19, of Jackson was crowned 2009 homecoming queen Thursday, Oct. 8, during halftime festivities. The Hinds Community College Eagles played Itawamba Community College.
Michael is a graduate of Jim Hill High School in Jackson. She is a nursing major, a resident assistant and member of Phi Theta Kappa honor society. She was escorted by her fiancé, Johnnie Stringer.
