After April 22 tryouts, the Hinds Community College Eagle cheerleaders for 2009-10 will include returning sophomores Rachel Daniels of Byram, Kassy Wilson of Vicksburg, Liz Raby of Itta Bena, Kheris Grant of Pelahatchie, Dominique Nicks of Brandon, April Hall of Florence, Christy Hennington of Raymond, Adrienne Tucker of Brandon and Malorie Sills of Brandon.

New incoming freshmen and their current high schools include Tiffany Bounds of Jim Hill High School in Jackson, Grace Ga'as of Vicksburg High School, Courtney Hand of Northwest Rankin High School, Kimberly Monroe of Central Hinds Academy, Lauren Odom of Clinton High School and Jonsey Thomas of Brandon High School.
