Meagan Dunn of Jackson won Best of Show in the annual 2009 Hinds Community College Fine Arts and Graphic Design Technology Student Art Show on the Raymond Campus.

Sylvia Pooley, director of Bryant Galleries in Flowood, served this year as judge for the exhibit.

"I feel like everyone here deserved it," said Dunn, who also received first place in painting and Honorable Mention in drawing. Dunn won best of show for "Oriental Persimmons."

The exhibit will be shown in the Marie Hull Art Gallery on the Raymond Campus until May 1. Gallery hours are 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 8 a.m.-12 p.m. on Friday.
