04/15/08 – New and current Hinds Community College students can advance register for the summer mini-term, summer sessions and the fall term beginning as of Monday, April 21.

Registration for summer mini-term and summer terms ends on May 21. Fall registration continues until Aug. 8.

The summer mini-term is May19-30. The mini-term format, part of Hinds' FastTrack scheduling options, offers the same course material in a compressed timeframe.

Hinds is offering one mini-term course at the Vicksburg-Warren Campus, Human Anatomy and Physiology Lab II. Hinds is offering15 mini-term courses at the Rankin Campus. Those courses are Legal Environment of Business I, Microcomputer Applications, Intro to Computer Concepts, Macroeconomics, English Composition I, Western Civilization I, Western Civilization II, American History I, Personal and Community Health I, Improvement of Study, Music Appreciation, Ethics, Physical Science Survey Lab I, American National Government, General Psychology I and Public Speaking I.

The first four-week summer term and eight-week summer term begin on June 2. The second four-week summer term begins on June 30. Summer school terms offer the same material in a compressed time frame.

The fall term begins on Aug. 18.
