These Hinds Community College employees have been named to receive the spring 2009 Life Star Award in their employment categories. They were introduced at the April meeting of the college Board of Trustees.

Along with the year's first Life Star awardees, who were recognized by the board in December, these Life Stars will be honored at the May 1 HCC Employee Appreciation Dinner on the Raymond Campus.

The Life Star Award is bestowed twice each academic year with recipients selected for outstanding service in their respective employment categories by peers, students and community members.

Contact the HCC Institutional Advancement office at 601.857.3343 to find out how to nominate an outstanding Hinds employee for the Life Star Award.
