Hinds Community College is offering 20 courses, including three science courses that have labs with them, in the May 18-29 mini-term at four different locations.

Registration for mini-term is Tuesday, April 14-May 15 for current students and April 20-May 15 for new Hinds students.

The mini-term format, part of Hinds' FastTrack scheduling options, offers the same course material in a compressed timeframe. Students can complete a three-hour course, weekdays, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., or a three-hour course and one-hour lab, through late afternoon, with three short breaks during the day. The final comprehensive exam is on the final day.

Rankin Campus: Microcomputer Applications, Computer Concepts, Macroeconomics, English Composition I, Western Civilization I, American History I, Improvement of Study, Music Appreciation, Physical Science Survey I and the accompanying lab, General Psychology, Introduction to Sociology, Marriage and Family, Public Speaking and Interpersonal Communication.

Nursing/Allied Health Center: Clinical Education III in the Physical Therapy Assisting Technology Program.

Raymond Campus: Physical Science Survey I and the accompanying lab.

Vicksburg-Warren Campus: Human Anatomy and Physiology II and the accompanying lab.
