12/09/07, PEARL - The Rankin Campus of Hinds Community College is simulating a two-car crash scene 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, as a substance abuse awareness activity.

The activity was originally planned for October and postponed because of bad weather.

The mock accident scene will involve a number of rescue personnel and other groups, including American Medical Response, Pearl Police Department, Pearl Fire Department, AirCare (the aeromedical critical care transport service of the University of Mississippi Medical Center), MADD, Pearl High School Drama Team, Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home, National Alcohol Council, Rankin Campus Associated Student Government, Rankin Campus maintenance, Phi Theta Kappa and Jackson Teen Seatbelt Coalition.
