Hinds schedules mandatory student loan workshops

The Hinds Community College office of financial aid will be holding workshops beginning Tuesday (Feb. 5) for students receiving loans for the first time for the spring 2008 semester.

It is mandatory that students who are receiving loans for the first time at Hinds attend one of these workshops . Failure to attend may delay their student loan disbursement.

The workshops are being held prior to the first loan disbursement and are designed to assist in managing student loan debt. It will also help to prevent future defaults.

The workshops will last approximately 30-40 minutes and will be held at the following locations:

Utica, 10 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 5 MB 100	Vicksburg, 5 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 7 Auditorium, Multipurpose Bldg.
Jackson ATC, 9 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 6 Room 105, Walter Bivins Tech. Bldg.	Raymond, 1:30 p.m., Monday, Feb. 11 Auditorium, Cain-Cochran Hall
Nursing and Allied Health, 11 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 6 LL 34	Raymond, 6 p.m., Monday, Feb. 11 Auditorium, Cain-Cochran Hall
Rankin, 10 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 7 Lecture Hall, George Wynn Bldg.
