High school students can get ahead through dual enrollment or dual credit courses by enrolling in Hinds Community College courses while still in high school. Check with a High school or Hinds counselor for more information.
With class sizes no larger than 25, the Vicksburg Campus full-time and adjunct instructors mentor their students, provide real world experiences in their classes and challenge students in their preparation for the 21st century workforce.
Student Activities Students enjoy a small campus environment with opportunity for involvement in Phi Theta Kappa, Student Government, Phi Beta Lambda, and HOSA. A student may graduate in Practical Nursing, begin working as an PN, and complete a RN degree without leaving this campus.
Work-Based Learning and Cooperative Education provide students the opportunity to receive credit for working in local industries directly related to their college programs of study.
