2009-2010 United Way Poster Eagle Contest Winner
Congratulations to Angela Griffin from Jackson Academic/Technical Center! The Poster Eagle competition asked faculty, staff, and students at our six locations for a one time donation to the United Way. The campus with the most donations got to see their campus Poster Eagle wear the Eagle mascot suit. Ms. Griffin received the most donations and made her debut appearance as Emma the Eagle at Jackson ATC on October 22.

Health Information: H1N1 Flu (Swine)
As you may know, flu can be spread easily from person to person. Therefore, Hinds Community College is taking steps to prevent the spread of flu at our campuses for as long as possible, but, we need your help to accomplish this. Click this link to view more information.

History Book Club
The History Book Club will meet 2:15 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 11, in McLendon Library, Raymond Campus. The reading selection is Before the Dawn: Recovering the Lost History of Our Ancestors by Nicholas Wade. All employees who read the book and are interested in discussion are welcome.
