Paul Heindl received his Bachelor's and Master's of Music Performance from The University of Mississippi where he was active in many of the university instrumental ensembles. He has been teaching and writing for percussion sections across the state of Mississippi since he was 17. Paul is an active clinician, adjudicator and performer and has played with the Corinth, Meridian and Mississippi Symphony Orchestras as well as the Mississippi Wind Symphony. He is currently an associate member of the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra and has performed with the group now for four years. Paul also plays drum set for Lakeshore Church in Byram every Sunday morning and for St. Francis in Madison, Sunday evenings. He also performs regularly with the local/ regional blues act "Rude Gecko" and local/ regional rock act "The Jason Turner Band". Paul currently teaches at Jackson Academy, Jackson Prep, and Vicksburg High School and is an adjunct professor at Belhaven College, Mississippi College and Hinds Community College. He also teaches privately in the Jackson area and lives in Clinton with his wife, Adriana and three daughters Annelise, Kali and Haddie.
