Scholarships

All uniforms and travel expenses are provided to Eagle Band members at no cost, and further financial support is offered through a generous scholarship program. Students can receive up to full tuition plus ½ room and board costs, depending on the level of musicianship demonstrated.

There are many types of scholarships and the amounts of each may vary. You may apply for more than one type of band scholarships. You may combine your band scholarship with other types of financial aid such as ACT scholarships, PELL grant, MTAG, etc. for an even better financial package. These scholarships may be used to pay the cost of tuition (Class enrollment costs for a full time student), Room and Board (Fees which cover costs of meals and a dorm room on campus) and supplies from the Raymond Campus Bookstore.

You don't have to live on campus to be in the band or receive a band scholarship. In fact, over half of our students live off-campus. You don't have to attend the Raymond Campus to receive a band scholarship. We have students now that attend the Rankin Campus and drive to Raymond just for band and the scholarship.
