Dana M. Bailey
Business & Marketing Management Technology, Department Chair, Full-Time Instructor
Dana Bailey is the Department Chair of the Business & Marketing Management Technology Department at Hinds Community College in Raymond, Mississippi, and she has been a full-time instructor at Hinds since 1989.
Dana, a graduate with high honors of the MMT Program she now teaches, completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing Education from Mississippi State University where she graduated Cum Laude. Dana has received numerous awards throughout her teaching career, including the 2000 Distinguished Secondary Instructor of the Year Award from Hinds Community College and the 1998 Mississippi Association for Marketing Educators Teacher of the Year Award. She is also listed in the Who's Who among America's Teachers. Dana has presented both national and state teacher training sessions, and assisted in developing the first Blackboard website in Mississippi for instructional purpose where she served as a Site Administrator for the Marketing Management Technology Blackboard website. Dana has conducted numerous teacher training programs for Blackboard. Additionally, she has also served on the Post Secondary Business and Marketing Management Technology Writing Team in 2005-07 and previously served on the Secondary Writing Team in 1998 and 2002. .
Dana has previously served as the Region IV Vice President of the Mississippi Association for Career and Technical Education and is an active Board Member of the Mississippi DECA Foundation. She has also served as an officer for the Mississippi Association of Marketing Educators for many years. Dana is the Delta Epsilon Chi Advisor at Raymond, where she has been a member of DECA: An Association of Marketing Students both professionally and as a student since 1984. Dana has lead hundreds of students to compete at the regional, state, and international levels throughout her 17 years of teaching.
Malinda Brown
Business & Marketing Management Technology, Adjunct Faculty
Malinda Brown is a graduate of Copiah-Lincoln Community College with an A.A. in Journalism, and of Mississippi College with a B.S. in Communications. Malinda has taught part-time in the Business & Marketing Management Technology Department since 2002 and is the owner of Creative Revelations. She has extensive industry experience with emphasis in designing advertising campaigns, sales promotions, and multi-media presentations. Malinda has also served as an Advisor for the Delta Epsilon Chi - Raymond Chapter and attended both the state and international conferences.
