Admission Requirements • Submit an application for enrollment to the Office of Admissions and Records at Hinds Community College. • Request that an official high school transcript or GED scores and ACT scores be sent to the Office of Admissions and Records if you are a high school graduate. (17 Math ACT Score) • Take the COMPASS placement test to assess developmental needs. • Interview with the instructor and complete the interview form.
Completion Requirements • Successfully complete the four semester program • Complete the post-test and show academic gain • Participate in graduation exercises to receive Certificate or Degree
Costs Tuition and fees are approximately $800 per semester for full-time students. Successful completion of three semesters is required to complete the program. Students must purchase their own tools at a cost of about $300 and books at a cost of about $300. Men and women's residence halls provide nearby living quarters for those students who want to live on campus. The modern cafeteria offers traditional meals, plus a deli and pizza take-out counter.
