Landscape Management Club (LM Club)

The Landscape Management Club is a student led organization that is available to students within the Landscape Management Department. The LM Club performs a number of community service projects, fundraisers, recruiting and industry partnering. Some of these events include landscaping a Habitat for Humanity house, selling plants, planting annual color in Downtown Jackson, and our annual display at the Mississippi State Fair. The LM Club uses these events to bolster community awareness of the green industry as well as give back to those who are less fortunate. The LM Club uses the fund raising events to finance trips to various Green Industry related conventions, seminars, workshops and events. Each year we host the annual Green Industry Golf Classic at Eagle Ridge Golf Course on the Raymond Campus of Hinds Community College.

The LM Club uses these events and activities to build leadership skills, community awareness and involvement, interpersonal skills, and helps to strengthen the landscape related skills that each student is learning here at Hinds Community College.
