Instructional Technology
The mission of Instructional Technology is to provide support to district faculty and staff in their efforts to develop creative, innovative, and engaging teaching and learning environments that foster an atmosphere of critical thinking and collaboration among students.

Goals
1. Faculty will have access to appropriate instructional technology including the ability to develop courseware for delivery via MSVCC.
2. Students will have the ability to take coursework via the Internet.
3. Faculty will have access to appropriate training in instructional technology.
4. Students will be provided opportunities to take courses at a distance.
5. Students will be provided learning opportunities via various learning resources.
6. Production facilities will be provided for faculty and students to assist in the teaching/learning process.
7. Faculty will be trained through seminars related to Media and Instructional Technology.
8. Media materials will be developed to use in the instructional process.
9. The Department of Instructional Technology and Distance Learning will provide a facility to be used by faculty and staff to enhance the use of instructional technology.

Purpose
Our staff is here to assist in determining the best use of academic and instructional technology resources to accomplish the goals set forth by the faculty.
