Students are encouraged to become outstanding independent learners, capable of critical thinking and self-expression.
Wide Range of Honors Course
Honors courses are offered in the core curriculum areas of Art, Biology, Chemistry, Economics, Education, English, History, Humanities, Math, Music, Philosophy, Sociology, and Speech. additionally, courses are offered in career exploration, leadership development, and professional skill development.
Top Teaching Faculty
Experienced members of the HCC teaching faculty, known for excellence in the classroom as well as in their academic fields make up the Honors Faculty. These professors especially enjoy working with the top students at HCC.
A Sense of Community

The center has a library, computer lab, group study area, a special classroom, and lounge for both faculty and student use.
