Phi Theta Kappa
The purpose of Phi Theta Kappa is to recognize and encourage scholarship among two-year college students. To achieve this purpose, Phi Theta Kappa provides opportunities for the development of leadership and service, creates an intellectual climate for exchange of ideas and ideals, fosters opportunities for lively fellowship for scholars, and stimulates interest in continuing academic excellence.
What about fees?
The Phi Theta Kappa, Gamma Lambda Lifetime Membership fee is $75 per person. This one-time payment includes international, regional and local chapter fees.
How much time does it take once you are a member?
The time a member devotes to Phi Theta Kappa is a matter of individual choice. Some Phi Theta Kappa members choose to devote many hours to chapter activities; others may elect not to participate at all. Members who would like to be active are encouraged to participate in our Enhanced Membership and Leadership Programs.
