Drafting & Design Technology
The Drafting and Design Technology Program on the Raymond Campus of Hinds Community College is an instructional program that prepares individuals for entry-level employment in the field by providing classroom instruction and laboratory experiences in basic drafting techniques. The student will take courses in architectural, civil and mechanical drafting using the latest release of AutoCAD and other third party software. Successful completion of this two-year technical program leads to an Associate in Applied Science degree and a Certificate in Drafting and Design Technology.

Admission Requirements
- Submit an application for enrollment to the Office of Admissions and Records at Hinds Community College.
- Request that an official high school transcript or GED scores and ACT scores be sent to the Office of Admissions and Records if you are a high school graduate.
- Take the COMPASS placement test to assess developmental needs.
